Hypolimnetic oxygen depletion rate

The hypolimnetic oxygen depletion rate describes changing dissolved oxygen concentrations in the hypolimnion (lowest stratum) of lakes and reservoirs. Dissolved oxygen concentrations in the hypolimnion are especially significant because of their effect on fish.
