Provides the means to express, integrate, and share the science of IEM. It provides standards and tools to facilitate the discovery, access, and integration of science components (data, models, and assessment strategies) by stakeholders world wide. Integrated modeling systems are constructed and executed on a variety of platforms serving research, applications, and education at a variety of spatial, temporal and complexity scales.
