Indoor dust

Tiny particles found in the indoor environment produced by multiple sources, including the breakdown of plant and animal materials such as food debris, hairs and dander, fiber from clothing, carpets, and furniture as well as stuffing in mattresses, pillows, quilts; materials deliberately released indoors including tobacco or fireplace smoke, cosmetics and baby powders, powdered laundry detergents as well as soil particulates that enter via open windows or doors or on the bottoms of shoes.
