LD Detection (Layperson's Definitions)
Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-015476
1. Detection Limit (LD) - The lowest true concentration that will almost always be detected.
2. Detection Limit (LD) - The minimum detectable value is smallest amount or concentration of a particular substance in a sample that can be reliably detected by a specific measurement process. {OAR/OAQPS}
3. Detection Limit (LD) - The minimum true concentration that will return a result above the critical value given a specific measurement process and confidence level. {OW/EAD} {OW/TSC} {OAR/OAQPS}
