Mine Ventilation System

System that is used to control the concentration of methane and other gases within mine working areas through mine ventilation, rather than a mine degasification system. A ventilation system consists of fans that move air through the mine workings to dilute methane concentrations. This includes all ventilation shafts and wells at the underground coal mine.
