This limitation duration is used when describing a minimum percent removal for amalgam separators in the Dental Office Category (40 CFR part 441); the minimum 96-hour LC50 in drilling fluids and drill cuttings for the Oil and Gas Extraction Category (40 CFR part 435); and for minimum concentration value allowed as measured in any single sample of the discharged waste stream for sanitary wastes, also in the Oil and Gas Extraction Category.
