These conditions include where the total U.S. acreage for the crop is less than 300,000 acres; or the use does not provide sufficient economic incentive to support the initial or continuing registration of the pesticide for the use, provided additional criteria are met, such as that the pesticide plays a significant part in managing pest resistance or in an integrated pest management program.",
