National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants

1. Standards set by EPA under CAA to control emissions from specific industrial sources.
2. Section 112 of the Clean Air Act requires U.S. EPA to develop emission standards for hazardous air pollutants. In response, U.S. EPA published a list of hazardous air pollutants and promulgated the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) regulations.
