Natural Gas-Driven Piston Pump
Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-018271
Positive displacement pump powered by pressurized natural gas that moves and pressurizes fluid by using one or more reciprocating pistons. A pump in which a fluid is displaced by a piston driven by a diaphragm is considered a piston pump for purposes of this subpart. A lean glycol circulation pump that relies on energy exchange with the rich glycol from the contactor is not considered a piston pump.[40 CFR 60.5430b (CFR 2024)]
