Natural Ventilation

1. Air circulation is provided by opening barn doors or windows and allowing the wind to draw through the barn.
2. Airflow through open windows, doors, and other designed openings in the building envelope.
3. The movement of air into and out of a home through random holes and cracks, and open windows and doors. The air movement is caused by wind and by temperature differences (which drives the stack effect).
4. The movement of outdoor air into a space through intentionally provided openings, such as windows and doors, or through nonpowered ventilators or by infiltration.
