Opinion

A time-bound judgment or speculation that fluctuates unpredictably. In contrast to beliefs (i.e., tenaciously held convictions) "opinions" express what we believe at a given moment. "Opinions" generally are short-run impressions or "guesses" about specific objects, ideas, issues, or events that are usually involved with aspects of public affairs. (O'Connell 1974)
