1. Meaning given by the Department of Transportation at 49 CFR 523.4.
2. Passenger vehicles are sedans, station wagons, Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV), any passenger van (vans equipped with seating for more than 2 individuals), buses and ambulances and include any law enforcement vehicle as described above. Note: passenger vehicles have additional procurement restrictions.
