Plastics additive

Additives are incorporated in plastic materials prior to processing to impart specific chemical or physical properties to the plastic. Additives include lubricants, antioxidants, antistats, blowing (foaming) agents, colorants, plasticizers, heat stabilizers, flame retardants, and ultraviolet stabilizers.
