Pooled Insurance

An insurance pool refers to a group of organizations that insures certain risks, sharing premiums, losses, and expenses among themselves. Generally, "pooling" is used when a single entity does not have significant enough liabilities or resources to attain insurance and/or is not large enough to self-insure.
