Pre- and post-market certification

1. There are two types of certification: pre-market and after-market verification. In this case "market" means when the claim is publicized to the market, not necessarily when the product is introduced to the market. "Verification" means a check for conformance. These two approaches would be utilized within a certification system that implements a strategy for credibility assurance.
