Public service announcement

A brief presentation of a message by a non-profit organization via broadcast media. The term "public service" should be understood to mean that it is in the interest of and for the benefit of the public, and the time allocation for which is provided free of charge by the broadcaster. (Subset of public service advertising which can include print media.)
