Quantitative PCR

Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-022929

The principles of QPCR are similar to those of conventional PCR techniques with the exception that in each round of amplification the accumulation of PCR products is quantified using a fluorescence detector. Using host specific methods it is possible to quantify levels of pollution of PCR from different animal types.
