Radiological dispersion device

1. Any device that causes the purposeful dissemination of radioactive material through explosive methods or other dispersal methods. A radiological dispersal device is not a nuclear weapon.
2. A mix of explosives, such as dynamite, with radioactive powder or pellets. Also known as a dirty bomb. A radiological dispersal device is not a nuclear weapon.
