Reach Code

A unique 14-digit identification code assigned to a National Hydrography Dataset reach, which is a continuous piece of surface water with similar hydrologic characteristics. The first eight digits are the HUC for the sub-basin in which the reach exists, and the last six digits are a sequential number that is assigned when reach codes are allocated in the sub-basin.
