1. Any vessel in which vinyl chloride is partially or totally polymerized into polyvinyl chloride.

2. Device or vessel in which one or more chemicals or reactants, other than air, are combined or decomposed in such a way that their molecular structures are altered and one or more new organic compounds are formed.[40 CFR 63.1251 (CFR 2013)]

3. Device or vessel in which one or more chemicals or reactants, other than air, are combined or decomposed in such a way that their molecular structures are altered and one or more new organic compounds are formed. Reactor includes the product separator and any associated vacuum pump or steam jet.
