Real-time Measurement

Methods that use real-time instruments are used to sample and measure the parameter continuously, such as sound level, luminance, carbon dioxide, etc. Instantaneous measurements may be recorded or they may be averaged over a designated time interval. When these monitors are portable, they can be moved throughout the study space to perform measurements at several locations.
