Reproductive development disorders

Evidence suggests that environmental exposures to chemicals such as phthalates can affect the timing of puberty. Children who reach puberty at an early age have been found to be at increased risk of psychological and social issues during adolescence and metabolic, cardiovascular, and endocrine-related diseases and cancers in adulthood.
