Components, services or other resources that have the potential to be reused by an application or a developer. Reusability may take many forms and varying degrees, including: a) using existing resource "as-is", e.g., using an existing software tool; b) using part of the resource, e.g., using a routine from a block of code; c) modifying an existing resource, e.g., adding a parameter to a web service; d) reading lessons learned in developing a widget.
