Rotating Basin

A survey or monitoring strategy that identifies panels or subsets of basins within an area that are sampled on a periodic frequency. Usually one panel is sampled each year, after 4 or 5 years all panels have been sampled, and then the sampling sequence is repeated. Each year estimates are available for the Basins surveyed.
