1. The amount of sediment passing a particular point in a watershed per unit of time.

2. Amount of sediment passing a particular point (e.g., discharge point of the basin) in a watershed per unit of time.

3. The quantity of sediment arriving at a specific location.

4. Sum of the soil losses from a surface minus deposition in macro-topographic depressions, at the toe of the hillslope, along field boundaries, or in terraces and channels sculpted into the hillslope.
