1. Floating roof having one continuous seal. This seal may be vapor-mounted, liquid-mounted, or a metallic shoe seal. [40 CFR 63.681 (CFR 2013)]

2. Floating roof having one continuous seal that completely covers the space between the wall of the storage tank and the edge of the floating roof. This seal may be a vapor-mounted, liquid-mounted, or metallic shoe seal.

3. For the purposes of subpart C of this part, a floating roof having one continuous seal. This seal may be a vapor-mounted, liquid-mounted, or metallic shoe seal.
