Soil Gas

1. Gaseous elements and compounds in the small spaces between particles of the earth and soil. Such gases can be moved or driven out under pressure.
2. The gas present in soil which may contain radon.
3. Any gas emanating from the soil, including radon, methane, and water vapor.
