1. A liquid mixture of dissolved substances. In a solution it is impossible to see all the separate parts.
2. Any aqueous or organic solutions, slurries, viscous solutions, suspensions, emulsions, or pastes.
3. A homogeneous mixture of substances dispersed at the molecular level and present in a single phase.
