Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-026309
1. Category of steel that includes silicon electrical, alloy, tool, and stainless steels.
2. Low carbon and high alloy steel other than stainless steel that is processed in an argon-oxygen decarburization vessel.
3. Steel products containing alloying elements which are added to enhance the properties of the steel product when individual alloying elements (e.g., aluminum, chromium, cobalt, columbium, molybdenum, nickel, titanium, tungsten, vanadium, zirconium) exceed 3% or the total of all alloying elements exceed 5%.
