1. Method of applying coatings by atomizing and directing the atomized spray toward the part to be coated.
2. Method of applying coatings by atomizing the coating material and directing the atomized material toward the part to be coated. Spray applications can be used for prime coat, guide coat, and topcoat operations.
3. Any method of projecting a jet of vapor of finely divided liquid onto a surface to be coated; whether by compressed air, hydraulic pressure, electrostatic forces, or other methods of generating a spray.
