Tap Sampling Protocol

1. Instructions given to residents or those sampling on behalf of the water system to conduct tap sampling for lead and copper. Tap sampling protocols may not include any instructions or recommendations for pre-stagnation flushing or removal or cleaning of faucet aerators prior to sample collection.

2. Instructions given to residents or those sampling on behalf of the water system to conduct tap sampling under subpart I of this part.
