  "definition": "1. Compounds measured according to the procedures in § 60.503.\n\n2. Those compounds measured according to the procedures specified in § 60.564.\n\n3. Those compounds measured according to the procedures in § 60.614(b)(4). Those compounds measured according to the procedures in § 60.664(b)(4). For the purposes of measuring molar composition as required in § 60.664(d)(2)(i); hourly emissions rate as required in § 60.664(d)(5) and § 60.664(e); and TOC concentration as required in § 60.665(b)(4) and § 60.665(g)(4), those compounds which the Administrator has determined do not contribute appreciably to the formation of ozone are to be excluded. The compounds to be excluded are identified in Environmental Protection Agency's statements on ozone abatement policy for State Implementation Plans (SIP) revisions (42 FR 35314; 44 FR 32042; 45 FR 32424; 45 FR 48942).\n\n5. Those compounds measured according to the procedures of Method 18 or Method 25A, 40 CFR part 60, appendix A.\n\n6. Total gaseous organic compounds (minus methane and ethane) in a vent stream, with the concentrations expressed on a carbon basis.\n\n7. Total gaseous organic compounds (minus methane and ethane) in a vent stream.\n\n8. Compounds excluding methane and ethane measured according to the procedures of Method 18 or Method 25A, 40 CFR part 60, appendix A.\n\n9. Those compounds that the Administrator has determined do not contribute appreciably to the formation of ozone and that are specifically excluded from the definition of volatile organic compound at 40 CFR 51.100(s), as amended, are to be excluded for the purposes of measuring the hourly emission rate as required in § 65.64(f) for process vents subject to subpart III, NNN, or RRR of part 60 of this chapter.\n\n12. Those compounds, excluding methane and ethane, measured according to the procedures of Method 18 or Method 25A, 40 CFR part 60, appendix A.\n\n13. Compounds measured according to the procedures of Method 18 of appendix A-6 of this part or the concentration of organic compounds measured according to the procedures in Method 21 or Method 25A of appendix A-7 of this part.\n\n14. As used in the process vents provisions, those compounds measured according to the procedures of Method 18 of appendix A-6 to 40 CFR part 60, ASTM D6420-18 (incorporated by reference, see § 63.14) may be used in lieu of Method 18, if the target compounds are all known and are all listed in Section 1.1 of ASTM D6420-18 as measurable; ASTM D6420-18 must not be used for methane and ethane; and ASTM D6420-18 may not be used as a total VOC method.\n\n15. Compounds measured according to the procedures of Method 18 of appendix A-6 to this part or ASTM D6420-18 (incorporated by reference, see § 60.17) as specified in § 60.614a(b)(4) or the concentration of organic compounds measured according to the procedures in Method 21 or Method 25A of appendix A-7 to this part.",
