1. Air pollution from emission of vehicular combustion products
2. Includes polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), particulate matter (PM), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and ozone. The levels of TRAP are high near roadways and decline markedly as you move further away. Children who live, attend school, or play near major roadways are more susceptible to asthma.
