Water infrastructure decontamination

Inactivation or reduction of water infrastructure contaminants by physical, chemical or other methods to meet a cleanup goal. Decontamination is a key component of the remediation phase in a contamination incident and for drinking water and wastewater systems, the storage, treatment and distribution infrastructure must be decontaminated.
