1. Chemicals used to treat drinking water including disinfectants and anti-corrosion chemicals to inhibit the leaching of lead and other metals from pipes.
2. Any combination of chemical substances used to treat water in cooling systems and can include corrosion inhibitors, antiscalants, dispersants, and any other chemical substances except biocides.
