Assembly line

A manufacturing process in which products are progressively assembled as they move along a conveyor or workstation sequence, with each worker or machine performing a specific task. This method increases efficiency, reduces production time, and lowers costs by standardizing operations and minimizing material handling. Henry Ford popularized the assembly line for mass production of automobiles.
