Bonanza

An exceptionally rich and large mineral deposit, particularly of a precious metal like gold or silver, that is highly profitable to mine. The discovery of such a deposit often triggers a rush of prospectors and investment to an area. In mining terminology, a bonanza is distinguished from a more average orebody by its high grade and concentrated volume.
