Bus rapid transit

A public transportation system that uses dedicated bus lanes, off-board fare collection, and priority signaling to provide faster and more efficient service than conventional bus routes. It aims to combine the flexibility of buses with the speed and capacity of light rail. Bus rapid transit (BRT) systems can achieve speeds comparable to light rail, often exceeding 25 kilometers per hour.
