Duodecimo

A book size or format in which each sheet of paper is folded three times, resulting in twelve leaves or twenty-four pages per signature. This folding method produces a relatively small book, often abbreviated as 12mo. The duodecimo format was popular for pocket-sized editions, novels, and prayer books due to its portability and economical use of paper.
