Human interface device

A type of computer peripheral that allows humans to interact with a computer system. These devices translate human input, such as keystrokes or mouse movements, into digital signals the computer can understand. Common examples include keyboards, mice, joysticks, and touchscreens, which adhere to the USB HID standard.
