Nap dress

A loose, comfortable dress with a smocked bodice and a gathered or tiered skirt, named for being relaxed enough to nap in. It is typically cut from soft fabric such as cotton poplin and worn as daywear. The American label Hill House Home introduced the style in 2019, and it became especially popular during the pandemic.
