Quarry car

A heavy-duty, open-topped rail vehicle designed for transporting large blocks of dimension stone, crushed rock, or other bulk materials within a quarry. These cars are constructed with reinforced steel frames and bodies to handle extreme loads and abrasive materials from the extraction site to processing areas. Quarry cars operate on narrow-gauge or standard-gauge tracks and can have capacities ranging from a few tons to over 100 tons.
