Reperforator

A device that receives telegraphic or teletypewriter signals and converts them into perforations on a paper tape. This machine essentially re-creates a punched tape from an incoming electrical signal, allowing for retransmission or storage of the message. Reperforators were widely used in older telecommunications systems for message relay and archiving.
