Send
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-005159
An output on an audio mixing console that routes a copy of a channel's signal to an external device, such as a reverb or delay unit. The amount of signal sent is controlled by a dedicated knob or fader, allowing for a precise mix of the dry (unprocessed) and wet (processed) signals. Sends are configured as either pre-fader, where the send level is independent of the main channel fader, or post-fader, where the send level follows the channel fader's position.
