Slingload

A method of transporting external cargo beneath a helicopter, suspended by a cable or sling. This technique is used to move heavy or bulky equipment, supplies, or even personnel to locations inaccessible by ground vehicles. Slingloads are common in construction, logging, and remote area operations, requiring specialized rigging and pilot skills.
