Longline

A horizontal lifeline system used in fall protection, consisting of a flexible line stretched between two anchor points. Workers attach their lanyards to this line, allowing them to move along a work area while remaining continuously tied off. Longlines are designed to limit fall arrest forces to a maximum of 1,800 pounds (8 kN) as per OSHA regulations.
