Tint block

A solid area of color printed with a reduced intensity, creating a lighter shade or tint of the original color. This effect is achieved by using a screen of dots or a lighter ink density. Tint blocks are often used to create backgrounds, highlight sections, or add visual interest without using a full, opaque color.
