Twenty-fours

A form of composed type or plates containing 24 leaves, or 48 pages, arranged in the proper order for printing and folding. The leaves are printed on both sides, so a twenty-fours section holds 48 pages in all, and the printed sheet is folded to bring the pages into sequence for binding.
