Yoctoliter
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-006715
A unit of volume in the International System of Units (SI) equal to one septillionth (10^-24) of a liter. This exceptionally small volume is used in theoretical and experimental physics and chemistry to describe volumes at the subatomic scale, such as the effective volume of individual particles. A yoctoliter is one thousand times smaller than a zeptoliter and represents the smallest standard SI prefix applied to the liter.
