Brands and labels endorsement

An addition to a property insurance policy that specifies how damaged merchandise bearing the insured's brand or label will be handled. It typically grants the insurer the right to remove or obliterate the brand or label from damaged goods before they are sold for salvage. This protects the insured's reputation and prevents discounted, damaged products from competing with new merchandise.
